Description:
The saucer has rounded sides. A pomegranate painted in cobalt blue is in the center and four branches of fruits, namely apricot, persimmon, litchi, and peach, occupy four sides of the interior walls. The fruits are mature, and the leaves manifest bright color with vivid veins. This saucer is painted in cobalt blue. After firing, the yellow enamel is applied on the white area, and it flanks the blue color. Such combination of colors deepens the charm of the yellow and the brilliance of the blue. Along the exterior rim is the reign mark, "made in the Chenghua period of Great Ming" written in cobalt blue in a row, and it is freed of the yellow enamel.
