Description:
This vessel has a simple shape with three animal feet. What is more worth noting are themes depicted on it. The lid and the vessel create an integrated relief that depict mountains overlapping one another. Within the relief of mountain ranges are the reliefs of people, birds and animals, all of which reflect the liveliness of natural landscape as described by Han artisans. This vessel is in gilt-bronze, and due to the irregularity of the surface which has made the gilding process more difficult, much of the gilding has fallen off.
