Description:
|
This brush holder is made of two pieces of bamboo pole, each of which is only 1/3 of the bamboo tube. The bamboo joints on one end are carved to make a rest for brushes. On the other end, a pattern of ruyi head is carved. The brush holder has four dispensable legs, each of which is covered by a layer of bamboo skin as protection. These legs are carved with the fretted pattern. The holder appears simple and its decorative and functional design is thoughtful. It has the same function as a brush-bed that is used to hold writing brush during the writing process.
