Description:
A Ruyi with three inlays. The cloud-styled head is inlaid with a jade, on which a pair of dragon is embossed. The stem bulges in the middle, and is inlaid with a rectangular jade with indented corners. On it, a pair of phoenix is embossed. The tip is also inlaid with a rectangular jade with indented corners, on which, a pine tree, a deer, and a crane are embossed. The objects all symbolize longevity and evergreen. On the inlay-stands, the surface of the stem, and the rims of the stem are all embossed with auspicious objects such as, a pine tree, bamboo, a plum tree, mahogany, peony, peacock, and magpies. On the back, the head and the middle are decorated with a pattern of double-coins. The tip is decorated with a pattern of ancient-coins. The other part is embossed with drifting cloud and bats with the fish-styled pattern. This pattern symbolizes continuous fortune and luck to come. Altogether, the patterns symbolize wishes for a couple to live long with wealth and fortune. The tip is attached with a pair of yellow tassels, and a decorative knot.
