Description:
his vessel has a shallow belly, with three flattened feet, which has a evolved from the flat-footed potteries of the Neolithic period. Its surface is severely oxidized, covering the original golden color. In the middle of the belly is a band of horizontal cicadas pattern. The bodies of the cicadas are raised, and the background is decorated with diagonal-eyed thunder patterns. On the flattened feet are bird motifs in the shape of an owl, a pattern often seen in the late Shang.
