Description:
In Shang and western Zhou, gui with a round belly, ring foot, and semi-circular handles is the predominant vessel for carry grains. Beginning in the Spring and Autumn period, dui gradually became the more popular vessel for holding grains. This transformation is visible in many kingdoms, and each of them has developed its own regional style. This dui is characteristic of the Chu kingdom in the south.
