Description:
|
The five peaches are carved from wood and imitate real peaches. The surface is painted red towards the tip and fresh green towards the head. Every peach has a twig with slabs of green jade leaves at the head. Below the peaches is a wood trencher wrapped in yellow silk to steady the peaches. The round plate has a wide mouth and is painted cardinal red. Its rim and the foot-ring are coated with white glaze. This piece is a favorable birthday gift, or used for decoration and amusement.
