Description:
"Buddhist hand" is a given name to this kind of citric tangerine (its skin is similar to pomelo's skin) that resembles a human hand. It is edible and is usually used as a type of worship offerings. In this piece, there are five Buddhist hands carved from wood and coated with yellow paint. The leaves are made of green jade. The round plate is painted cardinal red and its mouth is wide; its rim and the foot-ring are coated with white glaze. The Buddhist hands are nailed to the piece of wood trencher underneath. This piece is favorable for decoration and amusement.
