Description:
The jade shows complex and inconstant spots and distinct patterns. The color of this type of jade is already fixed at the time it is mined, and it has not changed since then. This plain disc has an imperfect form, and the rim exposes its ragged surface, which has been chipped. The disc is uneven in thickness, and it is not entirely flat either. Each of the two sides has a large crack. The hole is tiny and drilled from one side, and the edge of the hole is angled, so that the hole on one side appears bigger than on the other. The drilling marks can still be seen. Yet, the large size of this 36.4cm wide disc is rare.
