Description:
|
This water container is made of a piece of white jade. The sculptor carved a simple and natural gesture of the bird, as well as preserving the best of the jade, its lustrous surface and full and fine texture. The sculptor designed and shaped the jade with skillful techniques to achieve a life-like image of the bird with a smooth flow from the head to the tail. The bird appears to stand calmly and peacefully. The wings and feathers are carved in relief, and the layers are clearly shown.
