Description:
|
The texture of the piece is green jade. The carved illustration depicts a literary man and his several lads arranging books in between the rocks and caves. On the rock, a li-shu (square style) inscription, "collected books in stone room," can be seen. On the rim of the holder's mouth, there is a poem composed by Qianlong during his fifty ninth reign year.
