Description:
|
A Ruyi with three inlays. This Ruyi is made of a piece of wood chased and sculpted to imitate tree branches. The Ruyi's surface is painted with a layer of gold lacquer. The head, the stem, and the tip are all chased with big peaches, Buddhist hands (a citric tangerine), and pomegranates. The stem slightly bulges in the middle; the upper and lower part is decorated with smaller fruits and branches. The fruits and branches symbolize an abundance of fortune, age, and descendants. The tip is attached with a pair of sapphire green tassels, a decorative knot, and glass beads.
