Description:
|
The elliptical head is chased with branches of a plum flower tree and a pair of magpies. The magpies symbolize happiness, and the plum flower tree represents the eyebrows because the Chinese character "plum" is phonetically the same as the Chinese character of eyebrows. Thus, the picture symbolizes a facial expression: joy rising above the eyebrows. The stem slightly curves like tree branch and is embossed with flowers, branches, and leaves. The tip is embossed with a lingzhi. The head and stem is mortised. The tip is attached with a pair of yellow tassels and a long decorative knot.
