Description:
A Ruyi with three inlays. The cloud-styled head is decorated with a chased bat at the head tip. The bat's head and body lies on the Ruyi's head tip, but its tail extends to the back of the Ruyi's head such that the tail touches the cloud patterns chased on the back of the Ruyi's head. The head's center is embossed with a standing elephant that is in a position of looking back. Surrounding the elephant are decorative objects such as a vase, Chinese umbrella, mushroom and fish. The back of the head's rim slightly protrudes and is carved with drifting cloud. The stem bulges in the middle and is shaped into a rectangle. The bulged rectangle is embossed with auspicious objects such as flowers and conch shells. The tip is slightly widened and embossed with the "wheel of law," an emblem of Buddha. A bat is chased at the very tip part and its tail is extended to the back to touch the cloud patterns chased on the back tip. The tip is attached with a pair of yellow tassels, a decorative knot knitted into the Shou character, which means long-life.
