Description:
|
The piece is made of natural tree roots coiled and twisted into the shape of a Ruyi. The main stem is covered with knobbles and leaves which are outlined by silver filigrees and filled with green feathers (or green enamel paint to imitate green feathers), flying bats, and all kind of gems in different colors as ornaments. There are sapphires, rubies, cardinal and pink and yellow jade, rosa crystal, sea-blue gems, jades, pearls, conches, and red glass, etc. The tip is attached with a pair of yellow tassels, and a decorative knot.
