Description:
A landscape with a plateau, pine trees, and a raft is carved in relief. The relief of the pine trees colored in underglaze red renders tree bark convincingly. Pine tree leaves are painted with dense cobalt blue while the slopes are painted with lighter blue. The rocks show different layers, and the incised lines indicate their texture. Then, these rocks are coated by a layer of yellow earth and a celadon glaze, thus revealing the tone of a hill mound. In the incised areas, where the glaze pools, the color appears darker, thereby emphasizing the layering of the rocks and the hill. Within the landscape, there is a house, a pavilion beside the shore, a river, and a figure fishing in his boat. The surface simultaneously applies the skills of incising and firing three colorants, namely underglaze red, cobalt blue, and celadon glaze, which show an air of tranquility.
